Eurotherm's advanced process controllers provide precision control of temperature and a host of other process variables together with an abundance of advanced options making it the most adaptable product in its class.

The emphasis is on flexibility yet the 3500 controllers still maintain ease of use. A 'Quick Start' code is used to configure all the basic functions essential to controlling your process including input sensor type, measurement range, control options and alarms. More advanced features are configured using a iTools software enabling users to pick function blocks from a library then connect them together using soft wiring.

The large 5 digit display on the 3504 is complemented by the 4 1/2 digit display on the more compact, 1/8th DIN, model 3508 provides a clear and unambiguous indication of the process value. A four-line message center provides custom or standard views of important information to the user while vertical and horizontal bargraphs provide at a glance visual indication of the process.

When you order a PID controller you can specify what you need - input types, control functions and output signals - and the instrument will be shipped to you pre-configured to enable 'out of the box' operation.

Manual calculation of PID parameters can be a lengthy process and requires in depth control knowledge. Automatic self tune, which calculates optimum PID parameters, can easily be performed - reducing your engineering time and providing straight line control response.

A PC software configuration and commissioning utility, 'iTools' provides simplified, advanced customisation of your controllers. We understand that your time is valuable and iTools removes the need for re-engineering as product configurations can be saved and re-used. iTools configuration software is available for download free of charge.
