These transmitters measure by means of a highly accurate condensation resistant capacitive sensor, which is integrated in a silicon microchip. The use of such technology enables accurate process measurements, while being very reliable, with long-term stability. One valuable feature is being able to swop out the "Humi-chip" module (which incorporates the sensor), without having to do any re-calibration. There are two isolated analogue outputs, selectable for Relative Humidity (RH), Temperature (T), Dew Point (DP), or Temperature and Dew Point Temperature difference. Common applications for these transmitters would be places such as Storerooms for meat, artifical snow making, or pharmaceutical industries.
